The room with Victorian elegance…
The Bay Room at Jambo Guest House is a large elegant room with stained glass sash windows overlooking the garden, it also has a Victorian fireplace with a marble mantle which is reminiscent of yesteryear. The room has a lovely antique oak table with two chairs and a small writing table. Persian carpets cover the polished Oregon pine floors and a charming chandelier lights the room.
A beautiful canopy suspends from the ceiling, matching the quilted overthrow on the bed. The queen-sized bed is equipped with dual control electric blankets and flexible reading lights. There is also a bedside table and a radio alarm clock.
The Bay Room also has a sleeper-couch which will comfortably accommodate a third person sharing the room.
The en-suite bathroom has imported Victorian style fittings and heated towel rails with colour co-ordinated fresh towels. The uniquely shaped bath is both comfortable and water saving and has an excellent overhead shower. The bathroom features an exposed glass-brick wall with handcrafted Kiaat doors which have sandblasted glass panels, letting in natural light while still ensuring privacy.
